AUP invites journalists of West Ukrainian regions to participate in training on standards of journalism, judicial reform, administrative reform and decentralization

Over July, 2016 the Academy of Ukrainian Press will hold 3 two-day trainings for journalists from western regions in Lviv with the support of Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. The purpose of trainings is to increase the quality of journalistic materials on reporting about the conflicts, IDP issues, judicial and administrative reform.

Each training has a different thematic focus. The participation of one person is possible only in one out of three offered trainings.

Dates and topics:

  • Standards of journalism while informing about conflicts, July, 11-12;
  • How to write about the administrative reform and decentralization, July, 13-14;
  • How to cover judicial reform, July, 15-16.

Participation in trainings is free. A meal is covered by organizers of event. Accommodation in a hotel is given to participants from the regions for the cost of organizers. Travel expenses are not covered. 

Selection of participants is carried out on the competition basis.
