AUP presented the preliminary results of monitoring of prime-time news programmes on nine top Ukrainian TV channels

On October 23 at 10:30 at Ukrinform news agency AUP presented the preliminary results of monitoring of prime-time news programmes on nine top Ukrainian TV channels.

These results will be presented by Professor Valery Ivanov, President of the Association of Ukrainian Press, Chairman of the Department for Advertising and Public Relations of the Institute of Journalism of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Doctor of Philological Sciences; Professor Natalya Kostenko, Head of the mass communications sociology unit at the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Sociological Sciences; and Professor Serhy Makeev, Head of the social structures unit at the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Philosophy.

This research is part of the project Media monitoring during 2012 parliamentary elections in Ukraine funded by the British Embassy in Ukraine, U-Media Program and the International Renaissance Foundation. Its final results will be presented to the OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission Ukraine 2012.
