ANNOUNCING THE RESULTS OF THE SECOND STAGE OF FILLING THE TULBOX FOR TEACHERS

The Academy of Ukrainian Press announces the results of the second stage of filling the Toolbox for Teachers.

On January 12, 2023, a meeting of the jury members was held to discuss the development of exercises/activities for the Toolbox for Teachers, to which the Academy of Ukrainian Press in partnership with the Directorate of Preschool, School, Out-of-School and Inclusive Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine invited to participate on November 9, 2022.

Chair of the committee: Oksana Voloshenyuk, manager of media education programs of the AUP.

Secretary: AUP Project Assistant Yulia Ritsyk.

Yulia Guza, AUP  Project Manager.
The developments were evaluated according to the following criteria: 

relevance to the topic;
novelty and originality;
overall level of performance.
Out of the 11 exercise/activity developments posted on the Teacher's Toolbox, 5 were selected as winners, namely:

"Phone Scams" by Hanna Horlenko, a media educator, teacher-methodologist, honorary educator of Ukraine, author of more than 30 textbooks on economics for students of grades 10-11 and teachers, co-author of the textbook "Civic Education" for grade 10;
"Ukraine in the Postwar Period (1945-1952): Postwar City and Village" by Oleksandr Mokrohuz, Head of the Department of Social Disciplines and Methods of Teaching Them at the Chernihiv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education named after K.D. Ushynsky;
"Under a Protective Information Umbrella or How Havenia Shkodenia Fought Danger (a reading book, encyclopedia of media literacy and preventive education for primary school students)" by Larysa Petrenko, a primary school teacher at Nizhyn Secondary School No. 15;
 "Destroying Russian propaganda: IPSO about the "invincible don" Kadyrov" by Oksana Rud, senior lecturer at the Department of Education Management of the Volyn Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education;
 "(Not) Good Did Moroz" by Liliya Kholevan, a teacher of art, fine arts, design and technology at Pidzakharychiv gymnasium of Ust-Putyla village council, Vyzhnytsia district, Chernivtsi region, senior teacher, teacher-methodologist.
The five winners of the competition will receive certificates and royalties for developing the exercises.

All authors whose developments have been published will receive a certificate from the AUP and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
