17.05.2023

The IREX project "Learn to discern: Infomedia Literacy in Education" team received more than 2000 applications from educators from all over Ukraine to participate in the project. Based on the results of the competition, more than 1300 representatives of the teaching staff of Ukrainian schools were selected for further training in the project. Each of them has extensive teaching experience and a high motivation for change.

In May-June, teachers will undergo online training to increase their own information resilience and master the skills to teach future leaders in infomediate literacy.

What opportunities does the project offer?

Introducing new approaches to teaching, and creating a creative educational environment in which students will have the opportunity to develop new skills and abilities that will meet modern digital trends and information challenges.

Based on the training materials developed by IREX and the methods of implementing information and media literacy that have been tested in practice, the project helps to develop an effective, sustainable model for integrating critical information perception skills into the educational process in general secondary education.

The "Learn to Discern: Infomediate Literacy in Education" team deeply appreciates the interest in the project and thanks the teachers for their desire for self-improvement, professional development and willingness to create changes in school education together. We wish the future project participants an interesting learning experience and look forward to a long-lasting collaboration!
