Training “Newspapers’ Management and Marketing” for publishers and editors of Ukrainian and Belarus printed media

On May 24-27, 2012, International Charity Fund “Academy of Ukrainian Press” (AUP) jointly with IBB Dortmund gGmbH and with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany conducted the training “Newspapers’ Management and Marketing” for publishers and editors of Ukrainian and Belarus printed media.
Training participants improved their knowledge and skills in the area of newspaper management and marketing, specifically with regard to the following issues: newspaper as a product; publication’s audience; business planning; personnel management; management of editorial office; advertising management; distribution management and marketing, etc. Training participants got familiar with the examples and success stories of effective media business in Ukrainian and German printed media sector.
