The most important achievement of reforming the content of primary education is the introduction of integrated learning based on a competency-based approach to school practice. A typical educational program of language and literature education presented a new content line "Exploring the media". The manual provides examples of the media texts integration in the teaching of language and literature in NUS, which is defined by the Standard educational program of language and literature education.

The book is intended for teachers wanting to diversify their classes by making them more interesting for students and developing media literacy.
